THE MAKHARIJ MATCHING GAME

What is the best way to engage our little ones with the book of Allah? And how can I make tajweed fun? These were the questions I was asking myself when I first started teaching Quran recitation to the little ones in my family. One day I spent hours searching for hands-on, engaging and fun tajweed activities. But after many hours of searching I couldn’t find what I was looking for.

I had a light bulb moment and thought to myself if I cannot find what I am looking for why don’t I try making something myself. I sat down and ideas started flowing of how I could make it fun. Within the next few days, I had created my very first hands-on tajweed activity - the 5 main makharij matching game. It was an instant hit therefore I decided to share it with others who would benefit. I was blown away by the amazing feedback I was getting. The kids were loving the game and it was a great way for them to learn where the sounds of the letters were coming from.
